My mission is to create effective materials that promote your marketing, advertising and public relations efforts.

I provide a variety of graphic design services and enjoy getting to know my clients. Listening and collaboration are an important part of my process. We typically begin with an information-gathering phase during which I learn about your communications strategies and goals. This is followed by a sketching phase, which often involves some research and exploration. I will then provide you with some ideas that result from this work and we’ll discuss the best design solution for your needs. The process moves on to the refinement phase and concludes when I provide you with the final product.

I keep my operation small which makes it possible for me to offer you personal attention and an affordable service.

ABOUT ME

I’m originally from New York City and have worked in the communications field since the1980’s. While earning a communications degree at Tulane University, I had several internships in television, radio and a magazine publishing company based in Manhattan. I returned to New York City after graduation and briefly worked in public relations before moving to Baton Rouge where I was a stringer for The Advocate and an interim writer and editor for a suburban newspaper. After earning a master’s degree in journalism from LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communication, I wrote and designed marketing materials for small businesses and organizations. I had now discovered my calling in life and returned to LSU for a BFA in graphic design.

I love graphic design. Even when I’m not working, my greatest joy is a thick notebook of white paper, pencils, black sharpie markers and the freedom to follow my imagination wherever it leads me.
